A couple of months ago my name was drawn from a contest on Margie Aslett's blog and I won a variety of papers from her new line The Girls' Paperie (thank you for the generous bounty Margie!). I mixed both the On Holiday and Paper Girl lines- they really worked well with these photos I took last month of my niece Katie and my daughter Emma as they spent the afternoon playing dress-up (the rose ribbon on tulle is from the new Dear Lizzy line by Elizabeth Kartchner for American Crafts.)
My friend Amy has had an amazing egg hunt at her home the past couple of years and this year Emma, unlike last year where she sat in the grass with one egg, was really close to scaling that wrought iron fence and making a beeline towards all of those eggs. The paper below came from the Paper Girl line of the Girl's Paperie. And how was I able to complete 2 layouts this week you might ask? Because Dave took the kids to our local science museum for a couple of hours on Sunday and I stayed home to play with paper. 2 hours of much needed quiet and creativity makes for one happy me.
BEAUTIFUL! (The supplies, designs, and stories!)

Love both layouts! And Emma was hilarious this year at the egg hunt. I can't wait to see how the kids do next year. :)
