Emma on the day she was born:Our youngest is three today. Our determined little leader who can get her big brother (and her dad) to do just about anything she wants, including time to play Legos in his room. Our pink princess who is as happy in her frilly dress-up clothes as she is when she is covered head to toe in mud. Our fearless one who greets strangers with a hearty hello and her family with bear hugs that are so strong that they almost bowl you over. Our active girl who only slows down for mealtimes and sleeping.

She has energy to spare. She loves you with all of her being. She is curious about everything. She is not afraid to try anything. She can destroy a room in less than 5 minutes. She loves the library and every time she is able to check out books you would think it was Christmas morning. She loves the outdoors, hot dogs, animals, her big brother, brushing her teeth, band-aids, babies, water with a straw, books, coloring, going places, coming home, getting dressed, flushing the toilet, holidays, birthdays, apples, celery and about a million other things, all with unbridled enthusiasm.
