Hard to believe it's that time of year again when I gather supplies and a book and ready myself to collect memories for my December Daily. This will be my fourth year working on this project (see December 2008, 2010, and 2011) and this year may be my simplest book yet. I found this red American Crafts 8x8 ringed binder at a discount store, cut white cardstock, added a piece of 6x6 patterned paper (some Christmas themed, some from various paper pads) to each page (each white page fits inside an 8x8 page protector), added some custom baseball card sleeves, and embellished the front with some die-cut felt I found at Michael's, vintage trim and various items from my Christmas stash.
The first page:
This page is pretty simple- a copy of our Christmas card (using a photo taken on Halloween), and a Martha Stewart office label, I'm sure as the days go by I'll be embellishing the pages much more than this one.
So with my foundation pages ready and a box of supplies nearby I'm ready to document the crazy, the fun, the routines, the sentimental, the traditions, the joy that is December.
